Student Housing and Studio Building

Phase I of our campus expansion features state-of-the-art residence halls with lounges, activity rooms, and outdoor patios with fire pits, all offering stunning views of Pikes Peak. These spaces will create a welcoming environment where students can grow spiritually and build lifelong connections. 

We are also building a cutting-edge studio soundstage featuring 4 studios with room for 7+ sets, offices, a recording studio, greenrooms, and moredesigned to equip students with modern tools for ministry. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, this creative space will encourage innovation and help expand our global reach. 

At an estimated cost of $68.5 million, your support will bring Phase I to life, creating a dynamic foundation for an inspiring campus where students can deepen their faith and impact the world for Christ.

Student Activity Center

Phase II of our expansion will bring to life a vibrant Student Activity Center, designed to enrich student life and strengthen our campus community. The facility will feature a 1,000-seat food court, a 200-seat steakhouse, and an atrium café—inviting spaces that encourage connection and fellowship.

Beyond dining, the Center will include additional classrooms, a 1,500-seat lecture hall, a learning center, and VIP apartments, offering vital resources for students and staff. With underground parking, escalators, and a pedestrian bridge, the design ensures easy access and improved campus connectivity.

This next phase will support our growing enrollment with modern, purpose-driven spaces. Your support can help make this vision a reality, creating a dynamic hub for learning, community, and spiritual growth.

Athletic Center, Hotel and Conference Center, and Bridge

Phase III of our expansion will deliver a world-class Athletic Center, Hotel and Conference Center, and Bridge—enhancing campus life and providing spaces that nurture students spiritual and physical wellbeing. The Athletic Center will feature an ice arena, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, a bowling alley, climbing wall, indoor track, and spaces for cardio and weight training, along with the ability to turn the hockey arena into a stage with a Jumbotron for major events. 

The Hotel and Conference Center will include 175 guest rooms, a ballroom and boardrooms for conferences, and a world-class restaurantoffering modern facilities for conferences, family visits, and campus gatherings. 

A new bridge and connector road with pedestrian sidewalks will improve campus accessibility, linking our north and south campuses and allowing students and guests to navigate the entire 497-acre campus without using city streets. 

This phase will support student wellness, foster community, and provide top-tier amenities for students, guests, and the broader university family.

Performing Arts Center, Additional Housing, and More

Phase IV of our expansion will establish a landmark Performing Arts Center, creating a powerful first impression for our community and guests while serving as a central hub for our live Broadway-style performances. The Performing Arts Center will feature a grand lobby, a 1,000-seat auditoriumand more.

In addition to the Performing Arts Center, we plan to continue expanding the campus with an additional 4 student housing communities, single-family housing, and more. Our goal is to accommodate 60 percent of our student body on campus, which will require nearly 1,400 beds at full buildout. We also plan to construct 60 singlefamily units—including duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexesto provide housing options for families desiring to attend Charis.
